THOMASVILLE ROSE SHOW & FESTIVAL
THE ANNUAL THOMASVILLE ROSE SHOW & FESTIVAL HAS BEEN GOING STRONG FOR 100+ YEARS! JOIN US APRIL 25-26, 2025!
Held in historic Downtown Thomasville, the Rose Show has been a Southwest Georgia tradition since 1922. Over the years, flower shows, entertainment, an artisan market, an antique car show, a parade, and much more have been added to create a true community celebration. - The deadline for the 2025 Rose Parade Application was April 4th. Selected participants will be notified soon.
- The deadline for 2025 Rose Fest Market Artisan Vendor applications was February 28th. Selected vendors have been notified.
- The deadline for the 2025 Rose Fest Market Food Truck applications was March 14th. Selected vendors have been notified.
Orchids on Parade
9am-4pm, Inside the Municipal Building, 144 East Jackson Street
This show features orchids grown in a natural habitat by members of the Thomasville Orchid Society. Members will be on hand to answer questions. Donations appreciated, open to the public.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 9am with the Thomasville Rose Queen and Court and local dignitaries.
104th Annual Rose Show
1pm-5pm, Remington Avenue at Broad Street, Under the Tent, Downtown Thomasville
The Rose Show is celebrating over 100 years of roses! Hundreds of heirloom and hybrid rose varieties will be on exhibit from growers throughout the Southeast. Open to the public.
Special performance by the Thomasville High School Band and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1pm with the Thomasville Rose Queen and Court and local dignitaries.
Interested in entering a rose into the show? Entries should be brought to the back of the Rose Tent on Friday between 7:00am – 10:00am. Display items to showcase your entry will be provided. Simply cut your stem as long as possible and the rose specialists at the tent will assist you with the rest. Entry categories will be Horticulture, Arrangements, and Photography.

Standard Flower Show
2pm-5pm, Thomasville Garden Center, 1102 S Broad Street
This show features several flower displays throughout the event focousing on floral beauty. There will also be a Children’s Butterfly Activity on Saturday.
Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 2pm with the Thomasville Rose Queen and Court and local dignitaries.
Rose Parade
7pm, Broad Street, Downtown Thomasville
Watch as Thomasville comes to life with colorful floats, marching bands, and much more during our theme of “Where Roses Reign...Heritage Blooms.”

Street Dance ft. R&B, Inc.
8:30pm, Immediately Following the Parade, Intersection of North Broad and Jefferson Streets, Downtown Thomasville
Enjoy a free, live concert featuring R&B, Inc. and bring your family to dance the night away!

Civic Garden Club Flower Show
10am-5pm, Under the Big Top Tent beside The Ritz Amphitheater, 202 GEN Lloyd J. Austin III Way
Sponsored by the Civic Garden Club, enjoy beautiful roses, wild flowers, horticulture settings, potted plants, hanging baskets, table displays, and more! Free admission, donations appreciated, open to the public. Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 10am with the Rose City Symphonic Band (Lisa M. Foltz, Music Director and Conductor), Thomasville Rose Queen and Court and local dignitaries.
Rose City “Show & Shine” Car & Truck Show
10am-2pm, Around the Historic Courthouse on Broad Street in Downtown Thomasville. On-Site Registration 9-11am. Parking opens at 8am.
Hosted by the Thomasville Police Department, come see unique and award-winning cars and trucks of all kinds! Proceeds benefit Thomasville Police Department Community Outreach Programs. Rose Fest Market at The Ritz
10am-4pm, The Ritz Amphitheater, 131 GEN Lloyd J. Austin III Way
Join us for an outdoor artisan market celebrating all things floral! Handcrafted artisans and makers from across the Southeast will have their handmade goods for sale. Enjoy food trucks, children’s activities, music by Red Clay Serenade, and more throughout the afternoon.
Standard Flower Show
10am-4pm, Thomasville Garden Center, 1102 S Broad Street
This show continues featuring several flower displays throughout the event focusing on floral beauty. A free children’s butterfly activity will be offered from 10am-12pm.
Sip & Shop
12-10pm, Downtown Thomasville
Grab a beer or wine from a participating downtown merchant and stroll the bricks for a day of sipping, shopping, and fun! Check with individual store owners for specific hours.
Rose Fest Finale
6-9pm, The Ritz Amphitheater, 131 GEN Lloyd J. Austin III Way
Enjoy a free live concert featuring Blue Burden, and enjoy dancing and fun for the whole family. Food trucks will also be on site.

Participating downtown bars and restaurants have masterfully created unique dishes, drinks, or desserts featuring the flavor of roses. Roses in Restaurants is celebrated the entire month of April.

Pebble Hill Plantation
Enjoy a guided Grounds and Gardens Tour showcasing the history of Pebble Hill’s beautiful landscape. Participants are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch to enjoy on the scenic grounds. Tour times are Friday, April 25 from 10:30 am-noon and 1-2:30 pm for $15 per person. 20% off all other admission from April 25-27. For more information, call (229) 227-5378.

Jack Hadley Black History Museum

Hand Painted Commissioned Rose Signs
These specially commissioned art pieces can be found lining Broad Street. Created by artist Trish Land, these commemorative signs were specifically for our centennial celebration and can be viewed throughout the month of April.
